Jay-Z to Beyoncé Knowles: the Greatest Living Entertainer

Save The Best for Last! For the 2014 VMA, MTV knew that holding off Beyoncé for the finale was the best move. Beyoncé said, “Welcome to my world!” and then gave a breathtaking mini-concert performance. Fashion wise, she flaunted her body wearing a beautiful Mosaic-inspired leotard by the amazing fashion designer, Tom Ford.

However, the real awe moment did not happen until Beyoncé accepted her Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Her proud husband, Jay-Z, named her “the greatest living entertainer” while their charming daughter agreed by clapping her hands and said, “Go, Mommy!” Mrs. Carter couldn’t help but smile with tears of joy. Blue Ivy definitely captured everyone’s heart.

It is predicted that her die-hard fans shed a tear or two as the family expressed their love and support for one another. Beyoncé kissing her family then saying, “Blue, I love you. My beloved (Jay-Z) I Love you,” surely stopped the divorce rumors. In addition, their moment became the highlight of the VMA Awards.

The crowd chanting “Beyoncé, Beyoncé, Beyoncé” was another epic moment. Consistently giving the same impact that the legendary icon, King of Pop: Michael Jackson gave us, it is only right for the Queen of Pop to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. She has been such an inspiration to many singers, dancers, entertainers , and loved by her devoted fans. All Hail to Queen Bey.
