The city that never sleeps added another eye-captivating billboard while also becoming the highest contrast LED screen in USA. With nearly a size of the football field, 25,000-square-foot to be exact, it can’t help but brighten the center of Times Square even more.
Google will be the first company to rent the highest-resolution LED display with a pixel density of 2,368 x 10,048 from owner, Vornado Realty Trust who is marketed by Clear Channel Spectacolor. The rental cost is estimated to cost around $2.5 million for four weeks.
With holidays coming, I can only imagine what Google will advertise on the high-definition digital display screen standing eight stories tall. It spans the entire block on Broadway from 45th Street to 46th Street. New York’s “bow-tie” will definitely have a bright and colorful holiday.
