It’s Saturday. The day is finally here. BMO Harris Bank is hosting their annual lights festival downtown in Michigan Avenue from Oak Street to Chicago River. From the Lights Festival Lane to the Tree Lighting Parade. Here’s the full schedule for the festivities today, November 22nd.
1.) LIGHTS FESTIVAL LANE
* Pioneer Court, 491 N. Michigan Avenue from 11 am-5pm
* Here’s some of the featured family-friendly activities:
A.) Radio Disney + Disney on Ice’s Frozen Surprise
Guess who’s coming to visit? It’s Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. Stop by Radio Disney to receive Disney Store coupons. If you present the coupon at the Disney Store in Michigan Avenue and State Street, you get a free promo gift.
B.) Eli’s Cheesecake Company
Visit their tent for a free deliciouscheesecake slice. If you bring a non-perishable food, you get another slice to take with you. If you donate $10, you get a whole delicious cheesecake. All proceeds go to Greater Chicago Food Depository.
C.) Garrett Popcorn Shops
Get a yummy treat size bag of their Garrett Mix to “Brightin the Holidays.” Add a savory warm cup of their Caramel Crisp Apple Cider for $2. Proceeds will be donated to Lurie Children’s Hospital Heroes for Life.
D.) MasterCard Priceless Chicago
Visit their tent so you can dress up with themed props while taking a fun instant photo print. Just for kicks, receive a special gift for you to bring home.
2.) TREE LIGHTING PARADE
* Starts at Oak Street and ends at Wacker Drive.
The Mickey Mouse parade will start off the magical tree lighting at 5:30 pm at the Magnificent Mile in North Michigan Avenue and end south on Michigan Avenue.
3.) FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR
* The Grand Finale of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival starts around 6:55 pm where all the fascinating fireworks will light up the enchanting city of Chicago.
